About Tier Mountain Construction

Owner-operated by Veleveni Okusi. West Valley City based. Salt Lake Valley local.

Who We Help

Valley homeowners inside 25 miles of West Valley City who need a concrete driveway, patio, RV pad, flatwork, or foundation — and who want a date they can plan around.

If you've got a cracked driveway, a new RV that needs a pad, or a patio/foundation project — and you've heard the horror stories about crews that take deposits and vanish — you're exactly who we built this company for.

Why the Written Date Exists

Veleveni Okusi built Tier Mountain Construction in West Valley City around one promise: the start date goes in the contract before the deposit.

The reason is simple. Homeowners deserve a date they can plan around. "We'll be there next week" isn't a date. "Sometime this month" isn't a date. A date is a day on the calendar that you can take off work, move your vehicles, and plan your life around.

The scheduling runaround — deposits taken then silence, crews that stop answering, "next week" for two months — is the enemy. The whole company is built against it.

The guy who answers the phone is the guy on your driveway. The guy who quotes the job is the guy who walks the finished work with you. That's what owner-operated means — and it's why the date goes in writing.

What We Refuse to Do

Owner walks every finished job with you

The Tier Mountain Standard

1

Walk

On-site walk-through + straight quote

I meet you on your property. We walk the site, talk about what you're pouring, discuss drainage and access, and I give you a straight-talking quote — no vague ranges, no 'we'll see.'

2

Sign

Your start date written into the contract

Your start date goes in the contract before we take a dollar of your deposit. No 'maybe next week.' No 'sometime this month.' A date you can plan around.

3

Pour

Proper base, reinforcement, and control joints

Proper compacted granular base, reinforcement sized to your load, and control joints placed for Utah freeze-thaw. We prep for the climate we actually live in.

4

Walk Again

Owner walks the finished job with you

I personally walk the finished job with you before final payment. If it doesn't meet the Tier Mountain Standard, it gets fixed. The owner who quoted the job is the owner who finishes it.
